Amplify ITEM

2024 ITEM Ministry Impact Report

Dear Friends of ITEM,

As we reflect on the past year, we are deeply grateful for your unwavering support of ITEM’s mission to train and equip leaders in the Majority World. It has been a year of transformation, growth, and challenges, but most of all, it has been a year of seeing God at work in mighty ways across the nations.

Through your prayers, contributions, and partnership, we’ve seen pastors and church leaders equipped and empowered with tools for effective ministry, churches strengthened, and lives changed by the power of the Gospel. We are excited to share with you the stories of these life-altering moments and the incredible progress we have made in training leaders who are impacting their communities with the hope of Christ.

We invite you to read through this report and celebrate what God has accomplished through all of us. We could not do this work without you, and we are honored to have you as part of the ITEM family.

Thank you for your faithful partnership. Together, we are making a lasting impact for the Kingdom of God.

OUR MISSION

ITEM exists to equip and empower church leaders in the majority world to bring gospel transformation to their churches and communities.

Why Amplify ITEM?

Our driving passion is to amplify the gospel in places where it is not currently heard or its sound is distorted. Our strategic approach is to invest deeply in high capacity indigenous leaders who can amplify the gospel in their communities and among the nations.

We currently have Ministry Training Centers operating in:

12 countries comprising 700 students.

Burundi: 1
Kenya: 3
India: 2
Nepal: 1
Rwanda: 1
Uganda: 2
Cameroon: 2
Liberia: 2
Zambia: 1
Malawi: 1
Tanzania: 1
Ethiopia: 1

We have plans to add Ministry Training Centers in Ghana, Nigeria, and Egypt. Along with adding more in Tanzania, Ethiopia, and Malawi.

IMPACT STORIES

Nepal

Pastor Purna Gurau initially planned to attend the ITEM training for only two days, but the powerful teaching deeply blessed and encouraged him leading him to stay for all three days.

He realized feeding God’s people spiritually is far more important than focusing on worldly things like music and sports.

Liberia

The outcomes Pastor Harris Bartuah has seen through ITEM training have opened his eyes to how to do ministry differently.

TEM’s teaching about worship has deepened Pastor Harris’s understanding of worship, enabling him to understand that worshiping God is not limited to a church service on Sunday morning but flows throughout all of life.

India

A church leader in India has been consistently attending ITEM’s training program and shared how these trainings have profoundly impacted his spiritual growth and deepened his understanding of the Bible. He expressed his appreciation for the systematic and accessible way the modules are designed, making complex biblical truths easy to grasp.

VIDEO TESTIMONIES

The speed of the growth of the church in the Majority World can be compared to a bullet train, while the speed of leadership training can be compared to a bicycle.

Project Accelerate

Our vision is to accelerate the speed of the gospel to the nations by making quality biblical training accessible to frontline workers.

Through Project Accelerate, we aim to equip and empower 5,000 frontline gospel workers who will bring transformation to their churches and communities. We are seeking to be very intentional about where we train. Like the apostle Paul, we do not want to build on another man’s foundation. Therefore, we are targeting the unreached areas of the world for future Ministry Training Center sites. Among these include the Middle East/North Africa and Southern Asia. We are also excited about our growing women’s ministry. Currently, we have trained women in Kenya and Rwanda with many more invitations coming in.
