Travel Diary 11: FINAL DAY BLESSING

This is their “winter” and I’ve been chilly since I got off the plane and with no heater in the rooms, our bedrooms stay around 66-67, 24×7. Outside it is only a few degrees warmer. But today had some warming moments.

It was one of those “a little bit of this, a little bit of that” kind of days. It started out with an appointment at International Leadership University (ILU) to officially hand over what the VC is calling the “first fruits” of my library donation. That was followed with a short meeting with our Kenyan Coordinator who came to pick up a laptop I brought for his friend. That was followed with a Covid test. And the day concluded with a Zoom meeting to discuss an upcoming Apologetics Certificate class that I am being asked to participate in. For a few more details and to get the link to the picture album to see an assortment of pics I uploaded today, click READ MORE below.

Travel Diary 5: EXPANSION COMING SOON

Friday was my transition day from Yaoundé, Cameroon to Nairobi, Kenya. The processes and steps were normal but progressing through the steps was, at times, painfully slow. And my early morning arrival in Nairobi had an unfortunate ending. The next few days in Nairobi were not originally on the schedule. I am waiting to see what the Lord has in mind. Travel Diary 3: THE TECHNOLOGY CHALLENGE

Today was a simple day and an encouraging day. But there was something I neglected to mention yesterday that I’ll start with today. As many of you now know, I am interested in launching an ITEM Youth Ministry built on the foundation of apologetics. When I started to question Joseph about the youth in Cameroon, I got an answer I wasn’t expecting but it shouldn’t have surprised me. Click here to read about his answer.
